Radio Apology

This poem and art piece were published in issue 3 of the Hoarder Arts and Publishing zine, Rapture. The face in the corner of the zine is also a part of a flipbook animation that I created. I made this drawing based the poem below that another artist, Declan Gleit, wrote.

The Choice to Live

This piece is about the joyous feeling of coming undone when you make the conscious choice to truly live. That is not me in the image, but a representation of this feeling that I have felt a lot recently, after having top surgery and some extreme improvements in my mental health. It feels like so much weight has been taken off, and like I am literally coming apart and floating in this new invigoration.

Crow Skull

This was one of my first bigger projects in Blender, and a friend helped me to design this skull, which I 3D printed and wore as a part of a costume. I worked together with a friend at RISD to take these photos of my costume in 2024. I created a character from this, named Karo/Crow, who is regarded as the Withered God, as they were cursed with immortality.
Loving Decay

The central heart is ceramic, and has real deer rib bones surrounding it. It represents the trust and vulnerability that you have with people you love, and how peaceful and eternal that can feel, much like death. Below are different steps I took in creating this piece.

Tilen and Mary

Tilen and Mary are characters that I created for a specific world building concept. It is a world made of animal-human hybrids, and operates very strongly within religion. Goats are associated with the devil, and lambs are pure, godly creatures.

Leah and Nox

Leah and Nox are characters that I originally created in middle school. They are best friends, and go on a journey together along with a few other characters, learning magic and taking down a corrupt government. I began working on their story when I was first getting into animation, and realizing that animation was what I wanted to do with my life. One of my biggest goals in film and animation is to increase representation of marginalized communities. Leah and Nox are both queer people of color, and I hope to be able to continue their story some day.
